Dr Christiaan Vorster is a prosthodontist in private practice,specializing in implant and restorative dentistry. He is renowned for his attention to detail, individual craftsmanship and precision.
After he matriculated from the Hoër Volkskool Heidelberg, Christiaan received a bursary from the South African National Defence Force to study Dentistry at the University of Pretoria. After a year of military service, embarked upon his dental studies and graduated in 2002. He received prizes for the best student in removable prosthetics, the Prossa prize for fixed prosthodontics and the Dental Technicians award. He performed his community service at the Louis Trichardt Air Force Base, where after moved on to 1 Military Hospital in Pretoria.
He joined the Prosthodontic clinic at the military hospital and worked with a group of distinguished private specialists in a multi-disciplinary setting. Christiaan had a burning passion for prosthodontics since his pre graduate studies, and accepted a specialist post at Tukkies in 2006. He graduated as Prosthodontist in 2009 where after he opened a private practice in Somerset West.
Dr. Vorster is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and on the section leadership as Education Delegate. He is a member of the International College of Prosthodontics (ICP), the Academy of Prosthodontics in South Africa (APSA) and the South African Dental Association (SADA). He regularly present lectures locally and at international congresses.
Christiaan is an avid trail runner who loves being outdoors and spending time with his family. He is married to Tania who is also a dentist at the practice and they have a daughter Klara and a son Tian.
